Jordan 1 Mid "Banned"
Inspired by one of the most iconic colourways in Jumpman history, the OG pair was famously banned by the NBA back in the '80s during MJ's 1984-85 NBA preseason. Every time he wore them on court he was fined a whopping $5,000 for violating the league's stringent uniform policy. With that said, that didn't stop him from rocking them, resulting in one of the best marketing strategies of all time.
Boasting an almost identical design to the original, the "Banned" features a stealthy black and red colour scheme and is crafted from a full leather construction. A Nike Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial side panels, while Michael Jordan's signature winged basketball motif is finely debossed onto the ankle.
Down below, you'll find an Air midsole that's as comfortable as ever, and this is lined with a complementary red rubber outsole, finalising the legendary Air Jordan 1 aesthetic.
